Para melhorar fluxo, Prefeitura realiza mudanças no trânsito nas regiões de Santa Teresinha e Sônia em Piracicaba

Para melhorar o fluxo de trânsito na região de Santa Teresinha e Vila Sônia durante as obras dos novos dispositivos na SP-304 – rodovia Geraldo de Barros, a Prefeitura fez mudanças no sentido de algumas vias. As mudanças foram colocadas em prática após estudos da Secretaria Municipal de Segurança Pública, Trânsito e Transportes e refletem, principalmente, para quem segue sentido Centro-Bairro.

Quem segue até a região do Vila Sônia e quer evitar a Rodovia Geraldo de Barros deve pegar a avenida Cristóvão Colombo, atravessar a ponte Victório Carillo Estequi (ponte velha), seguir por dentro de Santa Teresinha, pela rua Virgílio da Silva Fagundes até a rotatória do Bessy IAA. Na sequência, pegar a rua Dr. Antonio da Costa Pinto e Silva, depois avenida Euclides Figueiredo até a Vila Sônia. O trajeto também dá acesso à rodovia Hermínio Petrin, que leva a Charqueada.

Mudanças também foram feitas no sentido contrário (bairro-Centro), com acesso pela avenida Corcovado e rua Ricardo Melotto, que agora tem mão dupla, rua Manoel Elias Zina, rua Adelmo Cavagioni, ponte estaiada até acessar a avenida Cristóvão Colombo que leva à SP-304 ou à avenida Jaime Pereira. O acesso à Cristóvão passará a ter direita livre após a quarta-feira, 30/04.

“Fizemos as mudanças e observamos que tem ajudado a melhorar o fluxo de trânsito. Essa alteração deve permanecer durante o tempo das obras da Eixo-SP na SP-304 ou até quando for necessário, assim como a implementação de duas faixas no trecho embaixo do viaduto da Klabin, sentido bairro-Centro, das 6h às 8h30. As obras dos novos dispositivos são importantes para dar mais segurança a pedestres e motoristas e a Prefeitura, a pedido do prefeito Helinho Zanatta, fará sua parte, melhorando pavimento e sinalização nos pontos usados como rotas alternativas e pensando novas soluções”, ressaltou Odair Melo, secretário de Segurança Pública, Trânsito e Transportes.
