Prefeitura de Piracicaba inseriu 100 pessoas em situação de rua na Frente de Trabalho em quatro dias através do Projeto Superação

Os primeiros quatro dias do Projeto Superação, realizado pela Prefeitura de Piracicaba, por meio da Secretaria de Assistência, Desenvolvimento Social e Família com apoio de diversas secretarias municipais, já inseriu 100 pessoas que estavam em situação de rua na Frente de Trabalho, programa que oferece vagas de trabalho temporárias e qualificação profissional para pessoas em condição de desproteção social ou desempregadas.

Do total de vagas já preenchidas, 50 pessoas foram encaminhadas para atuar com zeladoria, pela Secretaria de Obras, Infraestrutura e Serviços Públicos; outras 50 estão trabalhando nos ginásios que pertencem à Secretaria de Esportes, Lazer e Atividades Motoras, e serão abertas mais 50 vagas para outras secretarias.

Após receber acolhimento inicial na Praça José Bonifácio, os interessados são encaminhados ao Centro Pop e à Casa de Passagem, onde passam por avaliação e atendimento. Aqueles que demonstram condições e desejo de trabalhar são direcionados para a Frente de Trabalho e passam a residir na rede de acolhimento por nove meses.

O contrato de trabalho tem duração inicial de nove meses, podendo ser prorrogado por até um ano. Os atendidos recebem um salário mínimo, vale-transporte e almoço. As demais refeições são oferecidas pelos serviços de acolhimento.

As atividades dos contratados incluem limpeza, manutenção de áreas verdes, conservação de prédios municipais e serviços gerais. O objetivo é promover a reinserção no mercado de trabalho, oferecendo não apenas renda, mas também capacitação e rotina estruturada.

Para o secretário de Assistência, Desenvolvimento Social e Família, José Edvaldo Brito, os resultados iniciais mostram o impacto transformador da iniciativa. “São pessoas que estavam querendo trabalhar. A pedido do prefeito Helinho Zanatta, estruturamos o projeto Superação e demos dignidade, moradia no acolhimento e acompanhamentos com profissionais técnicos. Muitas têm experiência como eletricistas, pintores, pedreiros. São pessoas que queriam mudar de vida, e estamos dando essa oportunidade a elas”, destaca.

Entre os beneficiados pelo projeto está Thiago Rodrigo Domiciano, 41 anos, que viveu cerca de dois anos nas ruas e iniciou na Frente de Trabalho nesta semana. Ele afirma que o projeto representa a chance de reconstruir sua trajetória. Segundo ele, o programa oferece um apoio “completo”, incluindo trabalho, suporte psicológico e acolhimento. “Com essa oportunidade, saí da rua, estou na Casa de Passagem e consegui um recomeço. É a chance de reconquistar tudo o que perdi”, comemorou.

Ricardo Roberto dos Santos, 53 anos, viveu uma década em situação de rua antes de ser acolhido pelo projeto. Ele define a oportunidade como “única” e afirma que já havia perdido a esperança de voltar ao mercado de trabalho. “Não conseguia emprego há muito tempo. Agora tenho expectativa de voltar a ser gente, ter uma casa, trabalhar. Estou encerrando 2025 de uma forma muito boa. Ganhei cama limpa, roupas limpas, alimentação e dignidade de novo”, afirmou, emocionado.

“Com a adesão das primeiras 100 pessoas para a Frente de Trabalho e a expansão prevista para os próximos dias, o Projeto Superação reforça o compromisso do município em promover políticas públicas de inclusão, acolhimento e reconstrução de vidas”, finalizou Brito.
