Estudantes devem fazer recadastramento para uso do transporte coletivo em Piracicaba; saiba como

A Prefeitura por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Segurança Pública, Trânsito e Transportes, está realizando o recadastramento obrigatório dos estudantes que residem e estudam em Piracicaba e que têm direito ao Crédito Tarifário Escolar para utilização no sistema de transporte coletivo. O recadastramento se iniciou em 06/01 e vai até 01/04, quando termina a renovação do cartão antigo para o novo Pira Mobilidade.

Até o momento, 1.561 mil usuários – de 15 mil estudantes cadastrados –  atualizaram seus cadastros e começaram a utilizar o novo cartão. Os estudantes realizam mensalmente 126.600 viagens, que corresponde a 9,5% do total dos créditos utilizados pelos usuários pagantes/mês no sistema de transporte coletivo, que corresponde a 1.301.288 créditos.

Para fazer o cadastro, os estudantes devem comparecer pessoalmente à loja da Pira Mobilidade, localizada na Praça Ennes Silveira Mello, 2.001, em frente ao Terminal Central de Integração (TCI). O atendimento ocorre de segunda à sexta-feira, das 07h às 19h e aos sábados, das 07h às 13h.

De acordo com a secretaria, o procedimento é necessário tanto para a substituição do cartão antigo para o novo cartão Pira Mobilidade, como para continuidade do benefício. O recadastramento deve ser realizado presencialmente na loja da Pira Mobilidade.

Para ter direito ao Crédito Tarifário Escolar, o estudante precisa estar regularmente matriculado em instituição de ensino e cursando o 1º ou 2º grau, seja na rede pública ou particular. Também são contemplados os alunos de cursos técnicos credenciados pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC), cursos superiores de categoria livre ou credenciados pelo MEC (Sistec MEC), e cursos de línguas, como inglês e espanhol, desde que haja matrícula regular na instituição correspondente.

Desde 2020, os estudantes contam com um cartão exclusivo para Créditos Tarifário Escolar, com a identificação do beneficiário. O Cartão Escolar é pessoal e intransferível, sendo automaticamente bloqueado em caso de uso indevido, conforme previsto na legislação municipal vigente.

Odair Melo, secretário municipal de Segurança Pública, Trânsito e Transportes, destacou a importância do crédito tarifário escolar que dá desconto de 50% sobre a tarifa regular. “Este benefício possibilita aos estudantes o aprimoramento educacional e a qualificação profissional nos cursos técnicos”, mencionou.

DOCUMENTOS – Para efetivar o recadastramento, é obrigatório que o estudante titular do cartão esteja presente, pois não será admitido cadastro por terceiros e apresentar os seguintes documentos: Carteira de Identidade (RG), CNH Digital e CPF (original ou cópia autenticada), ou Protocolo de RG (apenas para segunda via); comprovante de residência atualizado, como contas de água, luz, telefone ou boleto bancário e declaração escolar ou atestado de matrícula vigente, comprovando o reconhecimento do curso pelo MEC ou Sistec MEC. Caso o documento seja apresentado digitalmente, o aluno deve acessá-lo diretamente no portal da instituição para validação.
